Annual CSO Free Picnic Set for June 6th - Volunteers Needed!
Come enjoy a day of great food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of fun for all ages! You and your family are warmly invited to the Calumet Area Intergroup Picnic on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lake County Fairgrounds, Shelters 4 & 5.
- Fresh-off-the-grill favorites
- Ice-cold soda and water
- Coffee and a variety of sweet treats
- Plenty of fun for the whole family
We’ll also have 50/50, playing card raffles, and a cash raffle—all proceeds support the CSO’s general operating expenses.
Admission is free—please bring a side dish or dessert to share, if possible.
Cash raffle tickets are available at the CSO office, and we’re still looking for raffle ticket sellers—please connect with Denise if you can help. Food donations for the picnic will also be accepted.
The CSO office will also have a booth offering literature, coins, T-shirts, and other merchandise for purchase.
Volunteer Planning Calls
We’re also seeking volunteers for the Picnic Planning Committee. Join us via Zoom on Sunday, May 3 at 3:00 p.m. or Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m. to get involved. Open roles include Social Media/Publicity Chair, Donations & Food Chair, Equipment Chair, On-site Coordinator, and general volunteers for cooking, setup, and cleanup. We’d love your help!
