Looking for A.A. Classes?
People often contact the Central Service Office inquiring about “A.A. Classes” and you might be surprised to learn that Alcoholics Anonymous doesn’t offer any “classes” but does offer two different types of meetings from which you may choose to participate – Open Meetings or Closed Meetings.
If you have a desire to stop drinking, you may consider yourself an A.A. member and attend Closed Meetings. Otherwise, you will be a welcome guest at Open Meetings.
Please do not attend Closed Meetings if you don’t consider yourself a member or have a desire to stop drinking. In our printed Meeting Directory and on this website all meetings are clearly marked as to whether they are Open or Closed.
